The Journey of  Uma Ayurvedics Pvt Ltd

History

Uma Ayurvedics Pvt. Ltd. began its wellness journey 87 years ago in 1935 under the able guidance of Vaidyaraj Shri Krishan Lal Sharma. The company came into existence with the aim to provide genuine quality Ayurvedic medicines to the people of India at a very reasonable cost.

In 1935, the company was founded as Shri Krishna Bhaishajya Bhawan, which was further renamed Uma Ayurved Bhawan in 1983. It has in turn further undergone a transformation and huge expansion as Uma Ayurvedics Pvt. Ltd. Today, Uma Ayurvedics Pvt. Ltd. is known for its efficacious, standard and safe products under the sagacious leadership of our revered Managing Director, Mr. Uma Shankar Sharma.

Uma Ayurvedics Pvt. Ltd. is currently certified with ISO 9001:2008 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). We are also a respected member of ADMA (Ayurvedic Drug Manufacturer’s Association). The manufacturing facility has a huge spread over 80,000 sq. feet catering almost all classical dosage-forms like Guti-vati, Rasayog, Swarnayog, Choorna, Swaras, Kwath, Avaleha, Taila, Ghrita, Asav-Arishta, Bhasma, Pishti, Kupipakva Rasayan, Parpati, Lepa, Manjan, Satva, Ark, etc.

In order to obtain fresh, Rasa-Veerya-Sampann raw material for production, Uma Ayurvedics Pvt. Ltd. grows herbs in self-owned farms spreading over 30,000+ sq. feet. The medicinal plants like Tulsi, Kumari (Aloe vera), Kadali (Banana), Amla, Dhattur, Makoy, Bhringaraj, Ikshu (Sugarcane), Nimbu (Lemon), Giloy, Neem, and many more are cultivated organically in these farms.

Apart from manufacturing standard quality Ayurvedic medicines, we have a strong distribution network in Indian as well as overseas markets. We manufacture more than 350 classical (Shastrokta) and proprietary Ayurvedic medicines. Our consistent efforts to standardize the manufacturing methodologies ensure product-to-product and batch-to-batch consistency. Of course, it came as no surprise that today we are considered one of the leading Ayurvedic Manufacturers, suppliers and exporters.

The Vision statement of Institution

Vision

In today’s era, when health is one of the major concerns we at Uma Ayurvedics Pvt. Ltd., have ventured into providing total health care solutions with our vast range of products. Our vision is to spread the Natural Essence of Ayurveda all over the globe and establish ourselves as the best player in the field.

Torch Bearer

Ayurveda assists individuals to take control of their own health and increase self-reliance and re-establishes our connection to the environment. Treating any aspect of health begins with taking into account the whole of who we are – body, mind, and spirit. Everyone should practice this knowledge of life.

Your inspiration to choose Ayurveda

Ayurveda is not a treatment or medication for disease. It translates to knowledge of life. Disease is due to an imbalance or stress in a person’s consciousness. Ayurveda encourages certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment.

Personal Vision

Ayurveda is not limited to medicine or therapy; instead it implies a holistic approach to life and living in harmony with nature. Minor disturbances in the mind tend to be deeply influential, with the potential to compromise the quality of our lives, and to cause any number of diseases – physical and otherwise. The Ayurvedic approach to treat any single aspect of our health begins with taking into account the whole of who we are – body, mind, and spirit.

Message to Youngsters

All should have knowledge of life along with the knowledge of one’s subjects and professional degrees. Knowledge of life helps you to face the cut throat competition in a positive way. Knowledge of life gives you all knowledge of daily activities, food habits and discipline in personal, social and religious life.

The four basic goals of human life are Kama (pleasure), Artha (prosperity), Dharma (service), and Moksha (liberation). Knowledge of life gives direction to achieve these basic goals.
