My traditional family didn’t possess an Ayurvedic institution. But my father was thickly associated with the activities of the Esteemed Ayurvedic Institution of THE ARYA VAIDYA SALA, KOTTAKKAL, since 1932 to 1988.
He was the Chief Physician of the Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala’s Ayurvedic Hospital, which was one of the pioneer Ayurvedic Hospital in Kerala,

The Vision statement of Institution
Vision
The vision of The Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal:-
- The Arya Vaidya Sala is Primarily a Charitable trust. 45% if is annual profit is spent for charity purpose only. There is a Charitalble Hospitla at Kottakkal consisting of 130 beds.
- To manufacture good quality Ayurvedic drugs and sell them for reasonable price
- To conduct all kind of Ayurvedic treatments including Kerala traditional massage treatments also for reasonable price
- To propagate Ayurveda. For this purpose there is a publication Department also running an Ayurvedic College
- To conduct the necessary research oriented works. An Ayush accrideted R and D is there and also running the Centre for Medicinal Plant Researh (CMPR)

Your inspiration to choose Ayurveda
I developed passionate respect towards Ayurvedic physicians, by continuously witnessing the practice of my father and maternal uncle. And also my father advised me. So I became an Ayurvedic Physician.
