When I was young I used to help my father Dr Ganjam Purushothamacharyulu in his clinic and used to observe the patients and my father’s diagnosis.I used to help my father in preparing medicines. We prepared Chyawanaprasavalehyam, Yranasodha Thailam, Trijathakadi Vati, Paithyanthaka Ras, Kushmandavalehyam and purification(Bhavana) of Parada etc.at our home. Apart from this I used to type the articles written by my father to send for thesis competition when I was studying +2.
Torch Bearer
I feel that youngsters should gain the knowledge thoroughly and should examine the patient thoroughly by dasa vidha pariksha and diagnose the patients properly to treat them with Ayurvedic Shastreeya oushadhas. A great dedication is needed to stick on to the system. Every Ayurvedic Student should and must inculcate practicing Ayurveda for themselves and for the patients.
Your inspiration to choose Ayurveda
My father himself. From childhood I had passion to learn all slokas from Charaka Samhitha and taking Ayurvedic medicines for any ailment so before joining into the course, I had vast knowledge regarding the system and I am very proud for belonging to this Ayurvedic family.

My father Dr Ganjam Purushothama Charyulu M.D (Ayu), My paternal uncle Dr Ganjam Krishna Prasad M.D(Ayu), Dr A Vijayalakshmi M.D(Ayu), Dr G Swarupa Rani M.D(Ayu) and Dr Sunitha Joshi M.D(Ayu).
Personal Vision
Every Ayurvedic doctors has to bring one or two of their children into the system of Ayurveda, so that the vast knowledge learnt by us will not get extinct.
